Huskie Tracks is a GPS system that can be monitored to show where the bus is in virtual real time (there is a 20 second delay).
Currently, there are monitors at the Holmes Student Center (lower level). These have proved so popular that plans for monitors in Lincoln, Grant North and South, and Stevenson North residence halls are underway.
Huskie Tracks was developed cooperatively by efforts of the Advanced Geo-Spatial Laboratory (Department of Geography), Tri-Star Communications, the NIU Student Association, Huskie Line, and Holmes Student Center.
