Description: Traces the last incoming call without prior arrangement with the NIU police.
How it works: After receiving a harassing or prank call, hang up and dial *57. An announcement lets you know whether the trace was successful but does not provide the traced number. Contact the campus police for more information.

How it works: Dial *67, then dial the number after hearing special dial tone. Blocking the number display does not guarantee that it cannot be traced (using *57). If you receive a harassing call, you may attempt to trace the call although it may appear as “Private Number” on your display!

NOTE: Automatic Redial may not always connect; it depends on the equipment in the caller’s area.

To use Speed Call, dial * plus the Speed Call number (0 -9). To change a Speed Call number, simply program over the previous number with a new number.
